We believe that, at the end of the day, equity research all comes down to one thing: understanding a company's moat. Once you invest in a company with a formidable competitive moat, then even if you over pay for this company, you will still be fine eventually because the company you've invested in will continue to grow while being protected by its moat. So even if you over pay for a company, though you might suffer short-term losses on paper, you can add your position along the way to reduce your average cost and not worry about the company's over-all well being and it's strength relative to other competitors. And an outstanding company should also enhance its moat overtime. We are looking for an equity research analyst who can help us identify a company's competitive moat through his/her own research and analysis. Please send us a resume to mgmtsvi@gmail.com (you can work anywhere in the world with stable internet access)

We need an investment research feature that allows us to easily search for a listed company's profile and its founder(s). Ideally, you input a stock ticker and the system generates 1: Company Profile 2: Year Founded 3: IPO Date 4: Founders Profile (For founders' profiles, each founder's name can be clicked on and then taken directly to the related Google search result so that a lot more info about the company's founder can be learned.

How does an ETF work really? I know I buy the ETF shares on the open market - but that is simply the ETF shares switching hands between me (the buyer) and another seller - so the fund itself does not get the money. Then how does the ETF get the capital to buy stocks?
